In March 2006, New York City Council Member Diana Reyna honored RightRides with the Pacesetter Award for
exemplifying the spirit of New York City in community service and
in celebration of Women’s History Month.
In February 2006, the New York City chapter
of the National
Organization for Women presented RightRides with their Susan
B. Anthony Award for
excellence in furthering women’s equality and for outstanding
grassroots activism with focus on women's safety.
On December 12, 2020 Human Rights Commissioner
Patricia Gatling presented RightRides with a Proclamation from the
Mayor's Office of New York City celebrating “RightRides
For Women’s Safety Day” – to
